Ukrainian grain exports approach 7 million tons

As of October 6, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 6 mln 918 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 708 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of October 6, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 3 mln 474 thsd tonnes, which is 13 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 635 thousand tons of barley and 0.7 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 mln 785 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 499 thsd tonnes or 1.9 times less than last year.
Also, 37.3 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 49.3 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 11.6 thousand tons or 1.4 times more than last year.
The preliminary data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated October 4. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 6 mln 822 thsd tonnes.
