Ukrainian farmers harvested 66.7 mln tons of grains and oilseeds

Ukraine has already harvested more than 66.7 million tons of new grains and oilseeds on an area of 18.6 million hectares. In total, 47.9 million tons of grains and 18.8 million tons of oilseeds were harvested.
In particular
- wheat – 4.9 million hectares (or 100%) were threshed, with a harvest of 22.3 million tons
- barley – 1.4 million hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with a harvest of 5.6 million tons
- peas – 212.2 thou hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with a total harvest of 470.4 thou tons;
- corn – 3 million hectares (or 76%) were harvested, with a total harvest of 18.3 million tons;
- Millet – 85.9 thou hectares (or 93%), harvested 160.2 thou tons;
- buckwheat – 87.6 thou hectares (or 98%), harvested 126.9 thou tons;
- sunseed – 4.6 million hectares (or 94%) were harvested, with 9.6 million tons of seeds harvested;
- soybeans – 2.5 million hectares (or 95%) were harvested, 5.7 million tons of seeds were harvested;
- rapeseed – 1.3 million hectares (or 100%) were harvested, with 3.5 million tons of seeds harvested.
In terms of gross grain harvest, the leaders are agricultural producers in Odesa region – 4.4 mln tonnes, Poltava region – 4 mln tonnes, and Chernihiv region – 3.7 mln tonnes. In terms of yields, farmers in Khmelnytsky region are ahead with 7.23 t/ha, Chernihiv region – 6.7 t/ha, and Bukovyna – 6.56 t/ha.
Agrarians in 15 regions are harvesting sugar beet, which has been dug up on an area of 195.4 thousand hectares, or 76%. They have harvested 9.5 million tons of sweet roots.
