Ukrainian corn exports exceeded 23 mln tons

As of May 3, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 41 mln 607 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 299 thsd tonnes less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 15 mln 848 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 364 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times more than last year.

Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 205 thousand tons of barley and 1.2 thousand tons of rye.

Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 23 mln 074 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 554 thsd tonnes or 1.06 times less than last year.

In addition, 87.1 thousand tons of flour (or 116.1 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 41.8 thousand tons or 1.57 times less than last year.

Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on May 1. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 41 mln 365 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.

As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
