Ukrainian corn exports almost reached 15 mln tons
As of March 5, in the MY 2024/25, Ukraine exported 29 million 680 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 1 million 309 thousand tons or 4.4% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 12 million 155 thousand tons, which is 220 thousand tons or 1.8% less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 126 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 14 million 924 thousand tons, which is 1 million 645 thousand tons or 11.02% less than last year.
In addition, 49,000 tons of flour (or 65,300 tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 25,900 tons or 1.52 times less than last year.
