Ukrainian corn export rates are almost 30% lower than last year’s figures

As of May 26, in the MY 2024/25, Ukraine exported 37 million 722 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 8 million 631 thousand tons or 22.8% less than last year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports amounted to 14 million 635 thousand tons, which is 2 million 601 thousand tons or 17.7% less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 293 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye.
Corn exports amounted to 20 million 234 thousand tons, which is 5 million 981 thousand tons or 29.5% less than last year.
In addition, 63.7 thousand tons were sent abroad. tons of flour (or 84.9 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 27.9 thousand tons or 43.8% less than last year.
