Ukrainian Black Sea grain corridor transported more than 50 mln tons of agricultural products

As of October 2024, the Ukrainian maritime corridor through the ports of Greater Odessa transported already more than 50.1 million tons of agricultural products.
This is reported by the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
The total volume of cargo handled in these ports reached 75 million tons. Ukrainian goods have been exported to 50 countries on all continents, including Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
Despite constant attacks from the aggressor aimed at destroying port infrastructure and creating a food crisis, Ukraine continues to strengthen its position in the global food market.
Since the beginning of round-the-clock operation of the corridor from March 15, 2024, the export volumes of agricultural products have increased by 20%.
Ukraine remains a reliable supplier of food even in the conditions of war, demonstrating resilience and compliance with international norms.
Prime Minister Denis Shmigal said that during the year of operation of the corridor, more than 2,300 ships called at Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea, and cargo turnover amounted to more than 64 million tons. In particular, about 44 million tons of grain were exported.
