Ukrainian agricultural products entered 16 new foreign markets
In 2024, Ukrainian producers gained access to foreign markets for 16 product groups in 9 countries.
This is stated in the report of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Thus, over the past year, world markets have opened for the following Ukrainian products
- poultry/feather/fish flour to the State of Israel;
- oils and fats for animal feeding to the State of Israel;
- honey to the People’s Republic of China;
- marine and river aquatic animals (fish, mollusks, crustaceans, needlefish, including those grown in farms) and products from them to the State of Kuwait;
- poultry meat and poultry products to the Kingdom of Bahrain;
- mechanically deboned poultry meat to Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- egg products to Canada;
- canned pet food to the Republic of Albania;
- chewing articles for pets to the Republic of Albania;
- ungulates registered for breeding and use purposes to the Republic of Moldova;
- semi-finished products of poultry meat to the Republic of Moldova;
- composite products to the Republic of Moldova;
- meat products intended for human consumption to the Republic of Moldova;
- veterinary health certificate for reptiles to the State of Israel;
- meat products intended for human consumption to the Republic of Albania;
- meat products to the Republic of North Macedonia.
It is noted that the forms of certificates are published on the official web portal of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section “International Cooperation” – “Veterinary and Safety” – “Certificates for Export from Ukraine”.
Today, the company continues to work with international partners to expand sales of various commodities, including poultry products, live cattle and small cattle, beef and pork, milk and dairy products, honey, apples, blueberries and cherries, peas and beans, onions, wheat flour, fish and fish products, and reproductive material.
According to Serhiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the State Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are currently working with more than 60 countries to enable Ukrainian producers to export their products of plant and animal origin.
