Ukrainian agricultural exports may exceed 5 million tons in December

The Black Sea ports remain the main logistics gateway for exports, as Ukrainian agriculture cannot survive without the ports of Greater Odesa. This was stated by Mykola Gorbachev, President of the Ukrainian Grain Association, during Shipping and Trade Day.
The Green Corridor is working, and in November, exports amounted to 2.7 million tons of grain and oilseeds. Other routes (roads, railways, and the Danube cluster) exported 4.5 million tons. We can achieve greater results – about 6 million tons. About 4 million tons of grain per month can be shipped through the Black Sea ports. Other routes can provide about 2 million tons. That is, in December it will be more than 5 million tons.
According to Mykola Gorbachev, the Ukrainian Armed Forces control the western part of the Black Sea even without powerful warships. This makes it possible to export more. However, most Ukrainian companies would like to load Panamax vessels.
