Ukrainian agricultural exports increased to USD 21 Bl

According to the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine, the value of external trade in food and agricultural products in January-October 2021 totaled USD 26.97 Bl (+19% y-o-y). Exports rose to USD 20.9 Bl, while imports gained to USD 6.08 Bl., UkrAgroConsult reports.
Food and agricultural goods accounted for 38.3% of the nation’s total exports. The leaders were grains with an export share of 43.4% and vegetable oils with 24.5%.
The biggest agricultural product importers in January-October included China (15.1%), India (6.6%), the Netherlands (6.5%), Egypt (5.7%), Turkey (4.5%), Poland (3.7%), Spain (3.6%), Indonesia (3.6%), Germany (3.3%) and Italy (2.4%).
