Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry warns of tough measures for trade in stolen Ukrainian grain

Ukraine intends to take appropriate tough measures against countries that buy Ukrainian grain stolen by Russia.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Facebook.
“Russia continues to trade in stolen Ukrainian grain. Anyone who accepts it is an accomplice to the theft. We see every relevant movement and action. We have handed over protest notes to the relevant parties, warning them of the consequences of such illegal activities,” said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
According to him, Ukraine has data confirming the origin of the grain and the routes of its transportation from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian ports.
The Foreign Ministry will also officially inform the International Maritime Organization once again that Russian vessels are disabling transponders.
“If these illegal actions continue, we will take tough measures, including using all available political, economic and legal instruments. As a result, all involved vessels, companies and organizations may face severe sanctions. This broad daylight theft must be stopped,” Sibiga emphasized.
