Ukraine. Sunflower oil export quotas by grain corridor will be reviewed
Ukrainian sunflower oil producers, one of the world’s largest industries, are facing systemic problems related to insufficient quotas for exporting products via the sea corridor.
Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, announced this on his Telegram channel following a meeting with members of the Ukroliyaprom association, heads of large oil production companies.
According to him, the problem is so serious that some factories have shut down due to overproduction.
“I am convinced that together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, we must urgently intervene in the situation and fix the problems of exporting products with high added value,” stated Danylo Getmantsev.
