Ukraine reduced grain exports by a quarter in MY 2024/25

According to the results of the MY 2024/25, as of July 1, Ukraine exported 40 million 602 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 10 million 484 thousand tons or 25.8% less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In the MY 2024/25, wheat exports amounted to 15 million 723 thousand tons, which is 2 million 774 thousand tons or 17.6% less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 318 thousand tons of barley (214 thousand tons less than in the 2023/24 marketing year) and 10.8 thousand tons of rye (4.8 thousand tons more than in the previous marketing year).
Corn exports amounted to 21 million 963 thousand tons, which is 7 million 560 thousand tons or 33.6% less than in the previous marketing year.
In addition, in the MY 2024/25, 71.1 thousand tons of flour (or 94.8 thousand tons in grain terms) were sent abroad, which is 27.1 thousand tons or 38.1% less than in the MY 2023/24.
