Ukraine. Rapeseed processing capacity is 18.5% utilized
In MY 2024/25, rapeseed exports amounted to 3.1 million tons (86% of its production), 0.5 million tons were processed into oil (14% of total production). This was reported by the press service of the Ukroliyaprom Association.
The oil and meal produced were almost entirely exported to EU countries.
Given that rapeseed oil and meal are in demand in these countries, it is necessary to move to increasing the processing of raw materials within the country and increasing the export of value-added products.
According to the results of MY 2024/25, the utilization of rapeseed processing capacities is expected to be at the level of 18.5%.
