Ukraine. NIBULON announced the areas under late crops. The bet is on corn

NIBULON has completed the fertilizing of winter crops, currently works are being carried out on plant protection, the soil is being prepared for sowing spring crops, and the preparation of harvesting equipment for the season is being completed. This was reported by the company’s press service.
In the Mykolaiv cluster, in February, the agroholding carried out fertilizing of winter wheat on an area of 8.4 thsd ha and winter rapeseed on 7.4 thsd ha. Thanks to timely fertilizing, the crops are in satisfactory or good condition, the crops are actively growing.
In early March, due to the increase in temperature, the company recorded a mass appearance of the hidden beetle on rapeseed crops, so the first treatment of the crop with an insecticide was promptly carried out.
As noted in NIBULON, sunflower sowing will begin in the Mykolaiv region in early April. In total, the following late crops are planned for sowing:
- Corn — 22 thsd ha,
- Soybean – 10 thsd ha,
- Sunflower – 4 thsd ha.
