Ukraine. Kernel buys back 3.37 mln shares
Kernel, an agricultural holding founded and chaired by Andrei Verevskiy, bought back 3.37 mln of its shares, the WSE report reads.
The opening date for tenders was 21 January 2022, the closing date was set at 27 January 2022.
Kernel Holding S.A. will buy 3.375 mln shares at PLN 56 per share. The total value of the purchase amounts to PLN 189 mln (apx. USD 46.37 mln or UAH 1.32 bln).
Ipopema Securities is an intermediary for the buyback.
On 27 January 2022, 1,169,305 shares of Kernel Holding S.A. were purchased under the share buyback program announced by the company.
Kernel informed that tenders submitted by shareholders with a price equal to Buyback Price will be reduced by 15.3%.
For context, Kernel announced its plans to buy back shares on January 19. The price per share was set at not less than PLN 50 and not more than PLN 60.
