Ukraine increased grain and oilseed exports to $11 bln in half a year

During July-January MY 2024/25, Ukraine exported grain and oilseeds worth $11 billion, which is $1.3 billion more than the same period last season. This is evidenced by data from the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA).
In particular, among grain crops, corn exports amounted to $2.41 billion (versus $2.09 billion in MY 2023/24 ), wheat – $2.08 billion ($1.48 billion last season), barley – $350 million ($212 million).
This season, supplies of some oilseeds increased, in particular soybeans – to $909 million (versus $718 million in MY 2023/2024) and rapeseed – to $1.45 billion ($1.14 billion).
At the same time, sunflower seed exports decreased to $22 million compared to $57 million for the same period the previous season.
Despite the reduction in sunflower oil exports this season, the revenue among all crops presented is still the highest – up to $2.7 billion ($2.77 billion in the previous season).
In addition, revenue from the export of shrot decreased – to $682 million ($774 million in the MY 2023/24) and other vegetable oils – to $393 million ($438 million).
