Ukraine increased exports of sunflower oil to Africa by 153.1%
In the 2023/2024 marketing year, Ukraine increased wheat exports to Africa by 40.6% and sunflower oil exports by 153.1%.
This was announced on her Facebook page by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.
According to her, Ukrainian exporters sent agricultural goods to 39 African countries.
“Ports in Odesa region remain key for Ukrainian grain exports. However, to ensure global food security, it is necessary to significantly increase the export capacity of all Black Sea ports. It is especially important to restore the functioning of the ports of Mykolaiv and the region. In addition, the security of Ukrainian ports is still the No. 1 issue,” added Yulia Svyrydenko.
