Ukraine has started exporting agricultural products to the markets of 63 countries

Ukraine has managed to establish exports of agricultural products to the markets of 63 countries for 200 commodity items. This was announced by the Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection Serhiy Tkachuk.
“We have grain corridors in place and are exporting agricultural products. This is a tremendous achievement of the country in times of war. We work mainly with grain crops, eggs and poultry, and dairy products. Today, we are negotiating apple exports with India, Vietnam, and Canada. As for Canada, we have started exporting egg products. This year, we started exporting honey to China,” said Mr. Tkachuk.
According to him, Ukrainian producers have been given the opportunity to export poultry and fish feed flour to Israel. He added that Kuwait has opened the market for Ukrainian fish exporters. The head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection emphasized that they plan to sign an agreement on the export of flour and peas to China soon.
The official reminded that Ukraine has managed to liberalize exports of maple, cherry and sweet cherry garden material to the EU, blueberries to Israel, mustard to Peru, potatoes to Turkey, and sunflower and corn seeds to Argentina. Mr. Tkachuk said that Ukraine has managed to simplify grain exports to India in terms of fumigation requirements.
