Ukraine has already opened 17 new markets for the export of agricultural products since the beginning of 2025. This was stated by the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Serhiy Tkachuk.

“This year, we planned to open 15 new markets for the export of agricultural products. Currently, Ukraine has already opened 17 such markets, so we have fulfilled and exceeded the goal set by our government,” said Tkachuk.

Thus, in 2025, Ukrainian producers gained access to the markets of 11 new export destinations for the supply of 17 different groups of agricultural goods.

In particular, domestic exporters will be able to supply table eggs to Albania, raw materials of non-food animals for the production of feed to the Eurasian Economic Union, and composite products containing poultry meat and dairy ingredients brought to culinary readiness to Georgia. Canada is already allowed to supply table eggs and apples.

The Chinese market has opened for three items at once, namely: marine mammals, wild-caught aquatic products, and peas. Ukraine will be able to export processed food products to Kuwait, and dairy products and egg products to Malaysia.

Moldova has provided access to the market for dairy products not intended for human consumption, as well as canned and processed pet food. The Sultanate of Oman has opened its market for meat, offal, and other poultry products. Canned pet food will be supplied to Turkey. And meat-and-bone and feather meal, as well as some types of animal fats, will be supplied to Chile.

“Active work continues in several other areas. In total, we expect to sign three more items by the end of the year. Let me remind you that recently Ukrainian manufacturers presented more than two dozen items in the USA, including snacks, water, and confectionery. Last year, Ukrainian wine also entered the American market, so now we are also expecting positive developments,” the head of the department noted.

In general, as of October 2025, Ukraine has the right to access exports in 381 trade areas of agricultural products, while last year this figure was 364, Tkachuk concluded.
