Ukraine has exported more than 39 million tons of grain

The volume of grain exports from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY as of February 4, 2022 amounted to 39.1 million tons, which is 9.8 million tons or 33% higher than last year. This is evidenced by data from the State Fiscal Service, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Thus, since the beginning of the season, 17.2 million tons of wheat have been exported, which is 31% more than last year.
Deliveries of barley to foreign markets amounted to 5.5 million tons (+ 39%).
Rye sent 156.8 thousand as of the reporting date. tons, which is much higher than last year (1.7 thousand tons).
More than 16 million tons of corn were exported. The increase in supplies was 36% compared to last year.
At the same time, the export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season amounted to 63.9 thousand. t, which is 27% lower than on the same date last season.
For reference: in 2020/21 MY exports of cereals and legumes amounted to 44.6 million tons: wheat – 16.6 million tons; barley – 4.2 million tons; rye – 17.1 thousand. t; corn – 23.1 million tons; flour – 126.9 thousand t.
