Ukraine has already sown 1.8 mln ha of winter crops

Ukrainian farmers have already sown 1.8067 mln hectares of winter crops. Winter grains are being sown in all regions, with a total area of 944.5 thsd hectares planted. Winter rape was sown on 862.2 thsd hectares.
In particular, the following crops were sown:
- winter wheat – 878.8 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 45 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 20.7 thsd ha;
- winter rape – 862.2 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in sowing winter grains are farmers of Poltava region – 106.4 thsd hectares, Kirovohrad region – 105.8 thsd hectares, Mykolaiv region – 89.9 thsd hectares.
Farmers in Volyn, Rivne, Zakarpattia, Ternopil and Lviv regions have completed sowing of winter rape.
