Ukraine harvested more than 22 mln tons of grains and oilseeds

Ukraine continues to harvest early grain crops. Over 19 mln tons of grain and over 3 mln tons of oilseeds have been harvested. In total, more than 5,871.9 thsd hectares have been threshed, and 22,324.6 mln tons of new crops have been harvested. Farmers in Poltava region have completed harvesting early grains and pulses.
As of today, they have already harvested
- wheat – 3,502.0 thsd hectares have been threshed, yielding over 14.7 mln tons;
- barley – 1,020.2 thsd hectares have been threshed, with a harvest of over 3.8 mln tons;
- peas – 189.8 thsd hectares were harvested, with a total harvest of 416.3 thsd tons;
- rapeseed – 1,086.3 thsd hectares were harvested, with over 3 mln tons of seeds harvested.
The regions are leaders in grain harvesting:
- Odesa region – 733.3 thou hectares harvested,
- Dnipro region – 630.7 thou hectares were harvested,
- Mykolaiv region, where 536.5 thou hectares were harvested.
Khmelnytsky region is the leader in terms of yield with 6,4 t/ha.
