Ukraine harvested 3.7 mln tons of new crops

Farmers in twenty-one regions are harvesting early grain crops. Soybean harvesting has started in Dnipropetrovs’k region.
A total of 1,154.3 thsd hectares of grains and oilseeds have been threshed, and 3.7 mln tons of new crops have been harvested.
In particular
- wheat – 482.2 thsd hectares were threshed, harvested 1.62 mln tons;
- barley – 402.7 thsd hectares were harvested, harvested 1.56 mln tons;
- peas – 82 thsd hectares harvested, 166.4 thsd tons harvested;
- rapeseed – 186.9 thsd hectares harvested, 285.9 thsd tons harvested;
- soybeans – 0.2 thsd hectares harvested, 0.3 thsd tons harvested.
The following regions are the leaders in grain harvesting:
Mykolaiv region, where 314.2 thsd hectares were harvested, Odesa region, where 205.1 thou hectares were harvested, and Dnipropetrovs’k region, where 158.2 thsd hectares were harvested.
Ivano-Frankivsk region is the leader in terms of yield, with 67.5 c/ha.
