The period of September 21-30 featured cool weather for this time of the year, with ground frost locally occurring at night. After rainy weather came to an end, farmers resumed windrowing buckwheat. Growers continue harvesting grains and pulses and planting winter crops, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Precipitation of varying intensity in the form of brief rains, locally downpours was seen almost all over the country. Some southern and central areas are still exposed to unfavorable conditions for the start of planting winter grains and for growing winter rape.
In the rest of the country, the soil is adequately wet, even very wet in the west.
Weather forecast for October 5-10:
– No precipitation all over the country;
– Air temperatures will be +13 … +13°C in the daytime, +4 … +6°C at night in the West; +12 … +14°C in the daytime, +3… +5°C at night in the North; +12 … +14°C in the daytime, +3 … +5°C at night in the East; +12 … +14°C in the daytime, +3… +5°C at night in Central Ukraine; +13 … +15°C in the daytime, +6 … +8°C at night in the South.
