Ukraine exports grain more actively in the new season

The export volume of grains and pulses from Ukraine in 2024/25 MY as of July 5 amounted to 718 thsd tons, up 2.6 times compared to the same period last season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, 245 thsd tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 3.78 times more than last year.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 3 thsd tons against 20 thsd tons last year.
Rye has not yet been exported.
Corn was exported in the amount of 468 thousand tons, which is 2.5 times more than the same date last season.
Ukraine exported 1.1 thsd tons of flour, down 26% year-on-year.
For reference: in 2023/24 MY the exports of grains and pulses totaled 50.8 mln tons, including wheat – 18.4 mln tonnes, barley – 2.5 mln tonnes, rye – 1.6 thsd tons, corn – 29.4 mln tons, flour – 98.2 thsd tons.
