Ukraine exported over 6 million tons of wheat
As of December 6, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 13 mln 723 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 5 mln 251 thsd tonnes or almost 1.4 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 6 mln 057 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 105 thsd tonnes less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 889 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 6 mln 642 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 590 thsd tonnes or more than 1.5 times less than last year.
Ukraine also exported 51.1 thousand tons of flour (68.1 thousand tons in terms of grain), which is 8.7 thousand tons less than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated December 4. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 13 mln 402 thsd tonnes.
