Ukraine exported over 29.1 million tons of grain

As of February 28, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 29 mln 136 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 644 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 11 million 499 thousand tons, which is 262 thousand tons more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 597 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 15 mln 761 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 442 thsd tonnes or 1.15 times less than last year.
In addition, 73.7 thou tons of flour (or 98.3 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 24.0 thou tons or 1.32 times less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on February 26. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, 28 mln 579 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
