Ukraine exported almost 9 million tons of grain
As of October 30, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 8 mln 904 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 4 mln 009 thsd tonnes or 1.5 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 4 mln 477 thsd tonnes, which is 489 thsd tonnes less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 679 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 3 mln 626 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 217 thsd tonnes or 1.8 times less than last year.
Also, 42.5 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 56.7 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 5.6 thousand tons or 1.1 times more than last year.
The preliminary data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated October 27. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 8 mln 721 thsd tonnes.
