Ukraine exported almost 34.2 million tons of grain
As of March 27, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 34 mln 199 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 723 thsd tonnes or 1.07 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 13 mln 504 thsd tonnes, which is 881 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 957 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 18 mln 447 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 267 thsd tonnes or 1.17 times less than last year.
In addition, 78.1 thou tons of flour (or 104.1 thou tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 35.1 thou tons or 1.44 times less than last year.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and pulses exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on March 25. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 33 mln 448 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
