Ukraine exported almost 17.5 million tons of grain
The volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in 2023/24 MY as of December 27 amounted to more than 17.48 mln tonnes, down 5.1 mln tonnes or 23% compared to the same period last season. This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, since the beginning of the season, 7.3 mln tons of wheat have been shipped to foreign markets, which is 13% less than last year.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 991 thsd tonnes, down 39% year-on-year.
Rye was shipped 1 million tons (-92%).
Ukraine exported 9.1 mln tons of corn, which is 3.4 mln tons or 27% less than the same date last season.
Ukraine exported 57 thsd tonnes of flour, down 11.3 thsd tonnes or 17% year-on-year.
