Ukraine exported 2.5 million tons of grain in October
As of November 1, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 9 mln 244 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 4 mln 135 thsd tonnes or 1.4 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In total, Ukraine exported 2491 mln tons of grain in October.
As of November 1, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 4 million 633 thousand tons, which is 427 thousand tons less than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 682 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 3 mln 626 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 338 thsd tonnes or 2.1 times less than last year.
Also, 43.0 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 57.3 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 4.1 thousand tons or 1.1 times more than last year.
The preliminary data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated October 30. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the total export volume of grains and pulses was 8 mln 904 thsd tonnes.
