Ukraine exported 18 mln tons of corn

The volume of grain and pulses crops exports from Ukraine in the MY 2024/25 as of April 18 amounted to 34.3 million tons, which is 4.3 million tons, or 11% less than in the same period last season.
This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, 13.6 million tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 10% less than last year’s volumes. Thus, 84% of wheat was exported from the total volume agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 million tons).
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 2.25 million tons, which is 5% more than in the same period last season.
10.8 thousand tons of rye were shipped, which is 11 times more than last season (1 thousand tons).
More than 18 million tons of corn were exported, which is 15% less than shipments on the same date last season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 56.8 thousand tons, which is 32% less than last year’s figure.
For reference: in the MY 2023/24, exports of grain and pulses crops amounted to 50.8 million tons: wheat – 18.4 million tons; barley – 2.5 million tons; rye – 1.6 thousand tons; corn – 29.4 million tons; flour – 98.2 thousand tons.
