Ukraine. Export by sea regaining its position

According to the Agriculture Ministry, 3.9 M mt of agricultural products were exported from Ukraine on September 1-18. This indicates that September agricultural exports may total a record 5.5-6 M mt.
The grain corridor has resulted in much stronger competition among major transportation modes for agricultural exports. While exports by sea vessels accounted for 17-27% in March-April, now their share is already as high as 74%, which is closer to the pre-war level of 94-97%.
In the opinion of UkrAgroConsult, the established logistics routes by rail and road transport will keep playing their role in the export of agricultural products in the near and medium terms, at least or the next 2-4 years.
