Ukraine: Corn exports 10% higher than last season

As of April 5, the volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in 2022/23 MY was 38.5 million tons, which is 15% less than the previous season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, which is published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
So, almost 13.2 million tons of wheat has been shipped since the beginning of the season, which is 29% less than last year’s volume.
Deliveries of barley to foreign markets amounted to 2.3 million tons (-60%).
There were also exported 17.7 thousand tons of rye, which is much less than last year’s 161.9 thousand tons.
Corn exported 22.7 million tons, which is 10% more than the volume of shipments on the same date last season.
Export of flour from Ukraine in 2022/23 MY was 117.5 thousand tons, which is 72% more than last season on the same date (66.4 thousand tons).
For reference: in 2021/22 MY export of grains and pulses was 48.6 million tons: wheat – 18.7 million tons; barley – 5.8 million tons; rye – 161.5 thousand tons; corn – 23.5 million tons; flour – 70.9 thousand tons.
