Ukraine collects nearly $70 mln in soy and rapeseed export duties in 2025
Exporters have paid about UAH 3 bln (approximately $70 mln) in export duties on soybeans and rapeseed, First Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Vysotsky said at Trend&Hedge Club.
“Preliminary figures for payment of duties for October-December already show that the potential revenue could be about UAH 3 bln,” Vysotsky noted.
According to him, most of the rapeseed and soybeans are exported by producers without paying duties.
Vysotsky explained that the funds from the duties go to support farmers in frontline areas, and the first priority is to pay off the debt for last year in the amount of UAH 1.7 bln, which arose due to a lack of financing.
