Ukraine. Barley exports in August are almost three times higher than last year
In August 2024, Ukraine exported 3 mln 287 thsd tons of grains and pulses, which is 1 mln 218 thsd tons or 58.8% more than in August 2023. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The export of Ukrainian wheat in August 2024 amounted to 1 mln 708 thsd tons, up 984 thsd tons or 92.5% compared to the same month last year.
In addition, Ukrainian farmers exported 210 thsd tons of barley in August 2024, up 337 thsd tons or 189% compared to August 2023.
In August 2024, the export of Ukrainian corn amounted to 3 mln 732 thsd tons, which is 110 thsd tons or 15.4% less than in August 2023.
In addition, in August 2024, 6.8 thsd tons of flour (or 9.1 thsd tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 6.1 thsd tons or almost half as much as in August 2023.
