Ukraine and the US agree to start work on a free trade zone
During a meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent in Washington, D.C., Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal agreed to start working on a free trade area.

It is noted that the main topic of the conversation was economic cooperation between the states, as well as the issue of financial assistance for Ukraine for the next year.
“We appreciate the constructive tone of the talks between our technical teams and look forward to further fruitful dialogue for the welfare of the Ukrainian and American peoples,” the head of the Ukrainian government said.
He also added that the teams of Ukraine and the United States continue to work on concluding an economic partnership agreement and establishing an investment fund for reconstruction.
