Ukraine. 5 regions completed sowing of winter rapeseed

Sowing of winter crops has begun in Ukraine. 7 regions of Ukraine are already sowing winter wheat, rye and barley, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
So far, 7.64 thousand hectares of cereals have been sown, in particular: 5.17 thousand hectares of wheat, 2 thousand hectares of barley and 0.47 thousand hectares of rye. The most active farmers in Chernihiv region, they have already sown winter crops on an area of 3.40 thousand hectares. Vinnytsia region with 1.9 thousand hectares and Lviv region with 1.10 thousand hectares are also in the top three.
Considering the favorable weather conditions, agricultural producers of all regions of Ukraine are sowing winter rapeseed, which has been sown on 686,000 hectares. The largest area is in Dnipropetrovsk region – 87.9 thousand ha, Odesa region – 72 thousand ha, Ternopil region – 63.7 thousand ha, Vinnytsia region – 58.2 thousand ha and Kirovohrad region – 55.9 thousand ha.
Agrarian farms of Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Cherkasy and Bukovyna regions have finished sowing winter rapeseed.
