UkrAgroConsult increases the yield forecast of oil crops in Romania

The EC raised yield forecast to 2.04m t/ha (vs. 2.00 mt/ha, 1.18 mt/ha in 2024), prompting UkrAgroConsult to lift Romanian SFS production outlook. To challenge the 2.84 M mt record, farmers still need at least 2.5 mt/ha.

July starts slightly dry but should rebound in its second half—enough to keep bullish trends. UkrAgroConsult predicts SFS exports decline in favor of growing domestic crushing.

UkrAgroConsult will monitor late-July rains in Romania as low precipitation can encourage the next bullish trend while average rains may trigger a swift correction.

Southern districts reported finishing rapeseed with solid yields—but early forward sales are scarce as cash bids fail to cover costs.

EC lifted its rapeseed forecast of Romanian rapeseed yield from 2.8 to 2.9 mt/ha.  UkrAgroConsult now pegs 2025/26 output at a record 2.05 M mt.

July’s front‐loaded dryness should be offset by mid‐month rains.
