Turkey’s grain production in 2024 is estimated at 39.2 million tons, down 7.1% from a year earlier and below an earlier forecast of 39.9 million tons, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.
The report said Turkey’s wheat production in 2024 is estimated at 20.8 million tons, down 5.5 percent from a year earlier and below the earlier forecast of 21 million tons.
Barley production is estimated at 8.2 million tons, down 10.9% year-on-year from the previous forecast of 8.4 million tons, the company added.
