Turkey to increase flour exports to record levels in 2023-2024 season
Turkey to increase flour exports to record levels in 2023-2024 season Turkey will supply about 5.4 million tons of flour to foreign markets in the 2023-2024 agricultural season, which is a record for the country, according to a report by the International Grains Council. The shipment of this product from India will also fall – from 300 thsd tonnes to 200 thsd tonnes.
In general, the global flour trade will remain approximately at the level of the previous season and will amount to about 14.1 mln tons. The supplies of this product to the Far East Asia (this region is the main importer of flour) will decrease from 4.1 mln tons to 4 mln tons this season. 2024.
