Turkey’s state agency TMO has contracted 18,000 tonnes of crude sunflower oil, the planned purchase volume, following a tender held on October 16, market operators said.

The supplier will be Aves, which sold 12,000 tonnes at $1,336.5/t C&F and another 6,000 tonnes at $1,344/t C&F. The oil is scheduled to be shipped from November 3 to 28 to the ports of Iskenderun/Mersin and Tekirdag.

As is usual with TMO tenders, agreements are preliminary and subject to further confirmation. Volumes and prices may be revised, and contracts may be reduced or even canceled depending on market conditions.
