Turkey continues to increase flour exports at a record pace
According to the information provided by the international association IAOM, it is predicted that in 2024 Turkey will be able to export a record amount of flour – 4 million tons, which exceeds the previous record of 3.66 million tons reached last year, Daily Sabah reports.
It is noted that the volume of flour exports from Turkey in January this year increased by 22% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 344 thousand tons. In February, exports increased by 60% and reached 322 thousand tons.
Over the past year, Turkey has earned 1.5 billion US dollars (48.63 billion Turkish liras) from flour exports.
