Turkey calls for an end to the war and the resumption of the grain corridor

The escalation of tensions in the Black Sea is not in the interests of either party, while a return to the grain deal will contribute to food stability.
This is stated in a statement following a meeting of the National Security Council of Turkey.
“Escalation of tension in the Black Sea will not be in anyone’s interest… All parties were called upon to come to the negotiating table and end the war without delay,” the statement said.
The Turkish Security Council emphasized that “a return to the ‘grain deal’ could prevent negative consequences in needy countries and contribute to food stability.”
