Turkey became the largest importer of Ukrainian corn in 2025
In the 2025 calendar year, Turkey became the largest importer of Ukrainian corn, providing more than 30% of the total supply. This is evidenced by AgroDigest, built on customs data.
In total, 5.41 million tons of corn were exported to Turkey, and the average export price was $ 219.1 / t, which is one of the highest among key buyers.
The second position was taken by Italy, which imported 2.82 million tons of Ukrainian corn (15.7% of the total) at an average price of $ 208.8/t. The top three also included Spain with an indicator of 1.7 million tons and a share of 9.4%, the average price of supplies – $ 209.3 / t.
Significant volumes of corn in 2025 were also purchased by the Netherlands — 1.46 million tons (8.1%) at a price of $215.4/ton, and Egypt — 1.31 million tons (7.3%) at an average price of $207.6/ton.
Among Asian destinations, the key buyer remained the Republic of Korea, which imported 765.9 thousand tons of corn from Ukraine at an average price of $212.2/ton. Libya closed the list of major importers with an indicator of 643.5 thousand tons and a price of $216.8/ton.
