Tunisia holds tender for wheat purchase

On June 13, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for the purchase of 75 thousand tons of soft wheat of any origin. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
100 thousand tons of wheat were purchased on a C&F basis from the following companies:
- GrainStar – two lots of 25 thousand tons at $243 per ton;
- Buildcom – 25 thousand tons at $243.77 per ton.
- Raya – 25 thousand tons at $248.27 per ton.
17 companies took part in the tender. The price of the wheat they offered ranged from $243 to $276.03 per ton.
According to the terms of the tender, the shipment will take place in lots of 25 thousand tons from July 1 to August 10.
