Trump sees no need to delay increased tariffs again

US President Donald Trump is ready to extend the delay in the entry into force of the “liberation day” tariffs, but he is convinced that this will not be necessary.
According to Reuters, the Republican does not insist that July 8 will be the last chance for countries to agree on more favorable trade agreements. However, he believes that everyone who wants to will be able to meet this deadline anyway.
According to the White House host, negotiations are currently underway with 15 countries and blocs, including South Korea, Japan and the European Union.
Trump also promised at some point to “send letters to everyone involved in the negotiations.” They will contain the final conditions that Washington is ready to accept in each specific case – on the principle of “take it or leave.”
