Trump announced new fees for partners within 2-3 weeks

US President Donald Trump said that he will set tariffs for trading partners in the next two to three weeks. According to Bloomberg, according to him, the administration does not have enough resources to negotiate with all the countries.
Trump said that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick will “send letters telling people” what costs they will incur to do business in the United States.
“I think we will be very fair. But it is impossible to meet with everyone who wants to talk to us,” the president said.
The US president added that “150 countries want to make a deal.” He did not specify how many countries and which ones will receive the letters.
As reported, on April 2, President Donald Trump announced the introduction of 10% tariffs on all imports of goods into the United States. Additional tariffs were imposed against 74 countries and the EU, with which the US has a negative foreign trade balance.
In particular, tariffs on China were initially 34%. In response, China mirrored the introduction of new increased tariffs by the administration of US President Donald Trump, setting tariffs on all US imports at 34%. China was one of the few countries that immediately mirrored the introduction of tariffs by Trump.
On April 9, Trump announced a 90-day pause in tariff increases for most countries, but continued to raise tariffs on Chinese goods. As a result, the US tariff rate on Chinese imports reached 145%.
In May, the US and China reached an agreement to suspend decisions on mutual tariff increases for 90 days.
The US has also already approved deals with the UAE and Saudi Arabia worth $200 billion and $600 billion, respectively.
