The US processed a record amount of soybeans in November
Last month, the volumes of soybean processing at the U.S. oil extraction plants reached the level of 5.1 mln tonnes, the highest monthly figure in the history of observations. Such data was released by the National Association of Oilseed Processors of the United States (NOPA). It was reminded that in November 2022, the oilseed mills received 4.9 mln tonnes of oilseeds.
Against this background, the stocks of soybean oil in the country increased for the first time in the last 7 months – up to 0.5 mln tonnes (as of the end of November 2022 – 0.7 mln tonnes).
Experts remind that the volume of soybean processing in the U.S. traditionally increases in the winter after the harvest.
The report of the National Association of Oilseed Processors NOPA contains the information about 13 companies-members of the association, which account for about 95% of the soybean processing market in America.
