The geography of sunflower oil exports has narrowed to 94 countries
During the full-scale war, the geography of sunflower oil exports narrowed to 94 countries.
This was stated by Stepan Kapshuk, Director of Ukroliyaprom, in an interview with The Ukrainian Farmer.
“Before the full-scale war, the export geography included 124 countries. However, you will not find a single industry that could produce such a result,” he said.
According to Mr. Kapshuk, oil and meals account for 15% of Ukraine’s total exports and 35% of its agricultural exports.
“In general, 70% of processed agricultural products are products of the oil and fat complex,” added Mr. Kapshuk.
